CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Senator Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea will return to the Mountain State to celebrate Mother's Day. Clinton will also campaign in West Virginia on primary eve.

The Clinton campaign released details of the visit Saturday afternoon.

The mother and daughter combo will then attend a "Solutions for America" town hall meeting at George Washington Middle School in Eleanor, W.Va. Doors open for the event at 7:15 p.m., and the event gets underway at 8 p.m.

Senator Clinton will continue her campaign through West Virginia on Monday, just hours before the polls open for Tuesday's primary.

Her first visit is to Montgomery early Monday morning. Clinton will campaign at the Montgomery Fire Department. Doors open at 7:15 a.m., and the town hall meeting begins at 8 a.m.

Next, Senator Clinton will attend a "Solutions for the American Economy" town hall in Clear Fork, W.Va. Doors open to the West Side High School Cafeteria at 11:15 a.m., and the event begins at noon.

Clinton will also visit Logan County. She will attend a "Solutions for America" Rally at the Logan Memorial Field House. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., and the rally starts at 3 p.m.

Finally, Senator Clinton will join Governor Joe Manchin at an "Old-Fashioned Democratic Rally" at Fairmont State University. The event at the Feaster Center gets underway at 7 p.m.

All of the events are free and open to the public.

The Clinton campaign encourages supporters to RSVP at HillaryClinton.com.

NewsChannel 3 and WSAZ.com will have extensive coverage of Clinton's visits as well as other candidates and races leading up to the West Virginia Primary.

Everyone old enough to vote should know that this whole Democrat's Primary is a gigantic to-do about nothing. Our vote doesn't mean a thing. Dean and his Special Delegates are going to decide whom they want to run against McCain. No one should have to power to say anyone's vote doesn't count. Now the Democrat Party Lords have complete control. Well not quite complete control. They may nullify my vote for whom I want to run for President, but I will VATI on the rest of them. Vote Against The Incumbents. YOU WANT CHANGE??? There is only one way to get real chance, CHANGE THEM ALL OUT.

I think the church Obama went to should be charged with tax evasion. Preaching against the goverment and people of white color is not a religion therefore should be taxed.

Everyone is saying Obama will turn us around. Right he will try to turn us around to what he believes. Prayer has already been taken out of schools and the pledge of allegience too. I seen video of obama refusing to put his hand over his heart or say the pledge of allegience he cares no more for our country than to refuse that what else will he refuse us. Women we need to get united and vote for Hillary cause I'm too old to let a Muslim make me walk behind my husband and bow down to him or any other man. I think his refusal to honor our country is just the beginnining of things much worse to come.

A christian? do you remember HIS own words "bitter people who cling 2 there guns and RELIGION" Does he sound like a christian? he claims that he is 2d press but he isnt he cant b and say something like that, "cling 2 religion" as a christian thats EXACTLY what your supposed 2 do. I think Obama is a Jesus hating muslim who is trying 2 wreck our great nation from within .To try to overtake us by force is impossible our 4fathers saw 2 that the 2nd ammendment they were d clingy gun carrying type 2.They also clung to GOD "one nation under God" Obama is the WRONG choice anyone can see it he is hoping we r stupid enough 2 believe his lies,or go ahead and believe him but dont blot out the clingy gun carrying christian remark,as i said his own words. He insulted every American! Open your eyes and see him 4 what he really is.Obama all of us arent as stupid as you think.

I've read where Obama has connections to Hamas,a terrorist organization. He may well indeed be part of a sleeper cell. For Gods and the peoples sake and lives vote Hillary or McCain

Posted by: Jimbo on May 12, 2008 at 12:19 AM
go hillary, yes it's over unless you know of a plan to have more states added to the U.S. Mathematically it is an impossibility for Hillary to win. You do know the election is not decided by the popular vote, right? The delegates choose the candidate. Hillary is losing votes by the day. She doesn't lead in delegates or superdelegates. A vote for Hillary is a vote for nothing. She can't win.

AMERICAN VOTER, is obviously quite uneducated. His/her rantings are unreadable to to the improper use of caps and poor grammar. Typical hillary supporter.

Why didn't she go to an evenly intergrated church to worship? My she would set us back to the civil war days' thinking. She is wrongly dividing this county with her campaign tactics- just pitiful and not all partriotic.

I have read alot on this issue I dont trust Obama,I'm sure that the 9-11 attackers were waving d red white&blue clean up until d time that they decided 2 strike us as I have said b4 Hillary's d best choice none of'm on either side Dem or Rep r trustworthy the term Honest politician is a joke but we need 2 look at this Obama really look at him there is something wrong with d picture open your eyes and your hearts, is he completely loyal 2 d US? maybe maybe not.DO we really want 2 take that chance, especially n our highest office? NO NO NO! the problem is& has been our choices,I myself am a lifelong Dem but the past years we have also had no choices, Obama spells disaster 4 us very little expierance,we need a LEADER one completely loyal without doubt let Obama do some real millatary service over n d mid east 2 show us something even then there will still b doubt I nor any of my people will vote 4 Obama, why? because I'm not satisfied with "maybe" when it comes 2 our president. Are you?

I am not going to put anyone down or yell and scream about who should or should win, this has been a well fought campaign by both candidates. I am going to set the record straight on a few things. Barack Obama was raised by his white single mother and his white grandparents who lived in Kansas after his father left and returned to Africa when he was 2. He is a Christian not a Muslim. He and Clinton have the same policy issues, even though they may differ on how to fix them. I do not believe that any true Democrat would vote for McCain just because their chosen candidate didn't make it to the General Election. Voting for McCain is voting for 4 more years of Bush policies, which include higher gas and food prices with lower wages to pay for them. And some policies that are even more extreme, such as abolishing Roe V Wade. I am asking all Democrats regardless of their chosen candidate to unite behind whoever is chosen, and keep McCain out of office, Something both want.

Sharon, it's over. You're wasting your time with a vote for her. She can't come and be President of just WV.

In January 1995, as the Clintons were licking their wounds from the 1994 congressional elections, a debate emerged at a retreat at Camp David. Should the administration make overtures to working class white southerners who had all but forsaken the Democratic Party? The then-first lady took a less than inclusive approach. "Screw 'em," she told her husband. "You don't owe them a thing, Bill. They're doing nothing for you; you don't have to do anything for them." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/16/hillary-clinton-on-workin_n_97017.html

Nothing like a good race to elect the peoples choice.Do we need to chose by gender, race or who is able to tell or have told the most harmful lies about their opponent? At least look at all sides to make the right choice.Who is attacking the other on gender?no one.Who is attacking the other on race?-- Who is attacking the other on matters of bold face lies they have been caught in?no one.And who has a mate who is a registered paid lobbyist<$200,000 a year> to get a bill passed to give South America all NAFTA benefits that BOTH say they are against? and do you think the mate really didn't know about the extra $200,000. going in their Joint bank account? We don't need another liar in the Presidents office, look what that got us!

To the Obama lovers who want him as president so we can prove this country is not racist!! SHUT UP!!! No one wants to be put on a guilt trip because a black man is running! Listen all you first time voters if it makes your life easier then tell them your gonna vote for Obama but no one goes in the boothe with you so just do what is right! This is not a racial rally it is for President of the greatest nation that was ever formed on earth!! So do your home work and do not trust people to tell you cause they will always be bias to there canidate. I have researched in depth and found things I know others have not. The bottom line is Obama is not ready yet, not to mention he couldn't win Nationally anyway! So if you help him become nominated then you are really putting Mccain in office to do exactly what Bush has been doing so think and look before you vote. AND REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A RACIAL PLATFORM!! It is for president!!

Obama is an American. He was born in Hawaii. His father was from Africa not the middle east but if you would actually read something about Obama you would have had those facts already. And he never went to a madrassa which is the correct term for your "radical sect of his religion". He went to public school. Again there was an article and a television special on that issue.

To sharon iagree Hillary is the best choice and i'm not thrilled with her but the less of all evils is the term BRING BACK BILL!!

Posted by: Lin on May 10, 2008 at 08:52 PM
It has been exciting and infuriating for supporters on both sides of this contest, but the fact still remains: The Democratic Presidential Candidate Has Not Yet Been Decided. Some would have you think differently, and in the midst of all this madness, people's constitutional rights are being manipulated: The right to vote; and the right to have that vote count. Anything or anyone that attempts to prevent that vote is engaging in voter suppression. And no matter what side you are on, that should make you extremely angry.

I'd like 2 start by saying that i am a natural red white& blue citizen of the US myparents& my parents parents were born& died here n America think about this election cant my fellow American bro's &sisters see what maybe coming? I speak of Obama look at the world we live n 2day is this the man 2 lead our great nation? we r now at war with most of the middle eastwhich happens 2b HIS people and the main reason being because of a radical sect of his religionwill he really perform his duties? when push comes 2 shove where do his loyalties lie? these r questions we need to ask ourselves & if the answer is yes the next is r u sure?it would b a good move 4 our enemies 2 put a sleeper cell n the white house our choices have seen better days & none of them can completely fix uor nation but almost anything is better than d extinction of our way of life our democracy is a wonderful thing but our enemies maybe trying 2 use it against us assuming we will open d gates 4 a trojan horse so VOTE VOTE!

Please get out to vote and provide a great show of support for Senator Clinton. She can still win, and has many supporters who are doing everything they can to help her stay in this race. She is the best qualified candidate by far. All you have to do is listen to her to get an appreciation of how knowledgable she is. We need someone with her depth of knowledge to take on the challenges facing the next president. She also has the support of many officers in the military (feel free to checkout her website for additional information www.hillaryclinton.com). Remember, in such a close election, EVERYONE'S vote is important and should be counted. And, it's not over until it's over (winners don't quit when things get tough).
