MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller says the nation needs to keep homeland security at the forefront as the federal government prepares to change presidential administrations.

The West Virginia Democrat's comments came while he was in Morgantown to open the 3rd annual West Virginia Homeland Security Summit.

Rockefeller says the change of administrations represents a major shift in the federal government and homeland security needs to be at the top of the priority list.

This year's summit is expected to attract more than 300 first responders, education and government officials, scientists and health experts.

The summit ends Monday.

Look at the most important things first, what has Rockefeller ever done as US Senator to support your freedom or right to vote? Consider your quality of life and standard of living under the rule of this Billionare tyrant. Everything like wages and medical benifits that's important for life liberty and justice has been destroyed. A nation that has been full of healthy, prosperous and independent people has had something to fight for. They have succeeded in taking all of this from the reach of the citizens of this country. Wages, benifits and functional unions are gone under their rule. It's the rich getting richer while the needy are easily controlled. Don't be lulled by the lyes and crumbs from their table. Get out to VOTE for a real change this November or kiss your security and peace goodby forever.
