CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- For the second time this week, traffic is backed up along Interstate 77 after an accident involving a tractor trailer.

This time the accident happened heading south at the 97 mile marker, just as you leave Charleston's city limits.

911 dispatchers say the driver of a car slammed into the back of a tractor trailer. The driver of the car was taken to CAMC General, but he's expected to be okay.

The interstate was closed for a short time causing traffic to back up, but the roadway has been re-opened.

On Tuesday, Interstate 77 was closed for several hours after two semis collided near the Chelyan Exit. One person died in that accident.

Chad Pennington is a class guy and deserves to go to a team that would appreciate a leader like he has been for the Jets. I hope he gets offered a chance by the Titans so he can go back to his roots in Tennessee.
