CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia is offering special driver's licenses to people who oppose digitized photos because they believe this could be the beginning of the biblical "mark of the beast" prophecy.

The Division of Motor Vehicles planned to distribute the special licenses Friday at its Capitol office.

Phil Hudok will be one of the first to receive a special license. The Randolph County teacher had refused to require his students wear bar-coded identification badges in 1998 because it violated his religious beliefs.

Hudok, pastor Butch Paugh and several others met with DMV Commissioner Joseph Cicchirillo in 2006 after learning that the state was switching to the digitized licenses.

The DMV agreed to keep hard copies of the opponents' license photos instead of digitizing them.

more proof of the stupidity of faith. poor christians, shoving their lies down our throats for 2000 years has been such hard work.

Posted by: I think you are complaining about the wrong issue! on Aug 15, 2008 at 08:16 PM
We Christians are entitled to deny anything we are agianst because our bible tell us it is wrong. Why you are making a big deal of this?yousure as heck did not make a deal, when you heard about little girls like 12 years old being married off and raped in Salt Lake City, Utah. The United states said "It is their religion and we have no right to tell them what they can and can not do".So why the fuss over the liscence? We are not breaking an Americian law like they are and getting by with it. It is a law that no one over 18 years of age is allowed to commit a sexual act upon someone 17 and under. Americians make exceptions for those nasty old men raping our children, but they can not make an exception when it comes to drivers Liscence?People I think you are complaining about the wrong topic. You see how sin works in this country, hurting kids is alright if youhide behind religion, but refusing to comply with the DMV is not alright.

"Street" is singular, not plural. "Streets" of gold is wrong. You look it up.

Why is it when people try and pass laws against Christians it is fine, people say "Well Americans' are just standing up for what they believe in." When a Christian stands for what they believe in they get called names. Christians have the same rights as every other person in this "free" country. Athiest, and egg-no-sence, this does not even have anything to do with you. It does not affect you in any way shape or form. You are more than welcome, to sell your soul, but us Christians fear something that was written down thousands of years ago, warning us about this. I guess it would be different if they where tryig to put a cross on your liscence {that would give them something to whine about} , well it is the samething for us. Talk about Christians finding things to complain about. What about the money, the pledge, the ten commandments, our freedom of speech. It seems you the "Devil's children" are the complainers, when we oppose something,we try and make to where it would only affect us.

Thank you for showing your own intolerance! You helped me prove my point. Have a nice afterlife! I know I will: praising God for all eternity! OH yeah BTW: Revelation 21:21 "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass." Next time, instead of showing your ignorance...how about YOU look it up!

I have 3 tatoo's, am I going to "hell". Come on people, lighten up. Its a photo for goodness sake. Sometimes I think if some radical christians just sit around in a group and try to find things to complain about. It is a driver license-nothing more.

Hey maccabees, you said "Your feeble minds only reject what is difficult to comprehend. Seek and ye shall find. The truth is out there." So are saying that Einstein, Darwin, Robert Oppenheimer, and Richard Feynman are feeble minded? They didn't find the bible myths to be true. The feeble minded are those that say I would rather believe and be wrong than not believe and be wrong. That is simply a feeble excuse for not thinking about the subject in-depth and critically. The easy way out is to just believe like the majority and go on.

Does anyone remember these same arguements in 1968, then again in the mid 80's, then again in 1999...I am so tired of "religous chicken littles" having the arrogance to think they know God's intentions or timeline. I have spent a lifetime listening to the predictions of "end times" and nothing has changed. Stop worrying about how it ends people and live in the here and now! Go to work, pay your bills, and live your life. The rest will take care of itself.

The End is Near 12-21-12 Read about the Mayan Calendar and Prophecy...It's the very news we are reading about that sets way for these types of discussions..noone wants to read about good things happen in the world they want to hear about the bad things..so if you want to say something about the mark the beast I would say it is the very ews we watch preaching his words and letting everyone know just how evil he is...

Posted by: Deep Blue on Aug 11, 2008 at 04:35 PM
I don't care if Phil Hudok believes in some imaginary "antichrist," speaks in tongues, handles snakes or sticks pins in voodoo dolls. His superstitions are his own business, but the DMV should not be indulging him. But what REALLY amazes me is that this guy teaches science in a public school! Only in West Virginia!

Posted by: angela on Aug 11, 2008 at 03:26 PM
Its his right, his belief and we should let him do what he wants. This country allows other religions to do as they please. He's no different.

This gave me a great idea for a fundraiser. I'm going to start a dinner party (price to be announced later) It will be called "Mark of the Feast" everybody who pays will get a rubber stamp of a UPC code on their wrist. Then it's all you can eat. Only those with the mark will be allowed to attend. The rest can sit in church and be hungry.

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 11, 2008 at 12:54 PM
yeah and the world ended Jan 1st 2000. Another example of ignorance at its best. You can be the best Christian you can be, and go to church every time the doors are open but ya know what YOU WILL NEVER KNOW WHEN THE WORLD IS GOING TO END!!!!! This is nothing but old people who are done living their lives and are not happy unless everyone dies along with em. Old folks homes should have a lock on their computers

Posted by: budd on Aug 11, 2008 at 09:42 AM
whatever, people are making fun of this because they either don't believe it or think it is ridiculous since "the mark" is to be on the right hand or forehead and not on a driver's license.

Posted by: booger on Aug 11, 2008 at 09:30 AM
You people have no idea what you're talking about. No, the new ID's won't track you. They don't have GPS in them. The pictures are only taken with a digital camera now. It saves the state money and time. The fingerprints aren't even required. They are only there to protect you from ID theft. Same as the picture. These dumb christians are only setting themselves up to have thier identities stolen. The fingerprints and picture aren't even stored in the main DMV system, they only come up when you get your picture taken again, whether renewed or replaced. It's done so nobody can go in and claim to be you and get a fake license with your info. That's all it is. No government conspiracy. No plot from Satan to steal souls. Grow up people.

I think I will worry about myself and if all Christians take care of their self and live for God they will have a full time job, you can't make your kids, parents or anyone a Christian you can only help yourself! Not saying I wouldn't like to see everyone live a Christian life but in the end I have to only answer for 1 me and if I can live my life for God my neighbor will have to answer for his self! So to all wheather Christian or not just remember "you" are the only one that has to answer for your life watching your neighbor will only cause you problems!!

Isaac, your "research" goes against the verified information I have and that Wikipedia has. I would suggest taking your "research" elsewhere. Plus, the Revelation is supposed to happen "shortly" in Rev 1:1. We've been waiting 2,000 years. Isn't that a little bit longer than SHORTLY? Come on, if you're going to throw a Bible myth at us, at least don't make us wait 2,000 years for it to happen.

To BIBLETHUMPER; You got it all figured out do ya? Well as polite as I can write it you are as about right as 40 thousand dollar dinners for congress lunch outings. I am going to just be straight with you bud, coming from myself and my 15 yrs of greek and hebrew mythology studies , the mark of the beast is symbolic however it is very real. It is one less than 7 which is Gods # of perfection and completion,so being one short makes it a # of imperfection because it is missing something-one more to make it 7!! Therefore God used it as a way of getting a point accross in which the last days there would be a plain view of crime and wickedness peoples way of doing things patterened after the devils way of give it to me now so God simply said in the last day people would be forced to take this mark or way of life to survive and sure enough we are, and frankly if you do not partake in the attitudes of the world you can't make it,people will rip you off and leave you for dead, study without opion

This is a fine example of ignorance blended in with a little needing attention !! These people want everyone to look at them and see how faithful and alert they are!! Too bad these same dummies are out here looking at little boys on the net!! This makes me so mad,the mark of the beast is a way of life not a literal number , if these so called pastors knew how to study their bibles with out a view to there own desirers then they would realize that participation in the mark of the beast has been going on for some time now with people engaging in lood acts of immoral activities. For the most part people are unaware of just how close we are to the end, they are to busy looking up for what they think is going to be Jesus coming back in the clouds thus marking the end!! SUPRISE is all I can say.

You know, for all this talk about 666, history shows us who that number belongs to. There is no antichrist and neither will there be. 666 (or 616 if you read certain Greek translations) is Nero Caesar, or rather his Greek translation Neron Kaisar. When translated into Hebrew, the name adds up in numerology to 666. That's it. No end of the world stuff. The beast has been dead for about 2,000 years. How did he die: he died exactly as written in Rev 13:10. How long did he reign? 42 months, as stated in Rev 13:5. The city of seven hills? That was Rome's nickname during the time Rev was written. He waged war against the Christians, just like in Rev 13:7. So why was all this attention given to Nero? Because there was this crazy notion that Nero was going to come back (there was a rumor that he didn't commit suicide, but just ran away to come back later). There's no prophecy given by Revelations; it's all illustrative code.

Niki, find a description for "streets of gold" anywhere in the Bible and post the verse. You won't find it. It was invented in the early motion pictures in depictions of Heaven. Too many people just take word of mouth about the Bible and don't even read it. To Ashley and Drake, as much hated as the Christians were to the Romans, don't you find it odd that the Roman Empire converted to Christianity after the crucifixion of Christ. You'll find few historians that would argue with that. Also, the coming of Christ was predicted in Isaiah in the Old Testament and historians have no doubt that it was written thousands of years before the coming of Christ. There's proof out there for those who are seeking. The Old Testament detailed Christ's crucifixion as well, long before this device of torture even existed. Your feeble minds only reject what is difficult to comprehend. Seek and ye shall find. The truth is out there.

How is a digitized photo on a card equivalent to a mark on the right hand or forehead as the book of Revelation states? Did these folks even read the Bible, or just watch/read the "Left Behind" series?

Posted by: HistoryX on Aug 9, 2008 at 12:41 PM
The whole Rapture idea didn't even come about until the late 1800s. The early Christian church never preached or speculated about it. It was an invention of an unenlightened time and continues to persist among those types. Also, to Pam-Ky the book in the Bible doesn't contain an "s" at the end. Neither does Kroger, K-Mart, or Wal-Mart.

Posted by: //////////////////////////////////// on Aug 9, 2008 at 12:17 PM
who knows what will happen? nobody should judge anyone on what thier religous beliefs are.

Posted by: Pam-Ky on Aug 9, 2008 at 11:49 AM
if you read revelations then you would know this is not a sign of the mark of the beast, people turns the scriptures to what they believe it means not what it actually says in order to go against something they dont believe in or fear, the mark of the beast wich occurs after the rapture and into the 4th or 5th year of the tribulation, The mark of the beast is when the final and last chance for some one to believe in christ or satan, and is placed on the hand or forhead. revalations 14-9 how ever GOD gives us signs to look for as the end of time phropecy starts to full fill its self. revalations is the best to find the truth. the book of Daniel and Ezeikel and thessalonians and the book of john is full of end time warnings.

Posted by: cc on Aug 9, 2008 at 11:28 AM
Let's think about technology. I mean, I use it daily and teach it to children frequently. I advise it but also see the invasion created by the "information age." I use my Kroger card, which tells them specifically what I purchase so they target their ads to me. I use a Speedway gas card for the same reason (and discounts on both and others, too). So, my name somehow is found on multiple lists...all b/c of the simplicity of this when it is out there. Consider the implications of tracking devices. Think about it, whether you believe in the "mark of the beast" or not. Do you want government control? Perhaps this is a step in that direction. Next thing you know someone will be advising that we lose the right to bear arms!

whats makes no sense on this is ...if you have a social security # your name is in a database...and what really makes this really silly is if your name is in a folder in a file cabinet wouldnt you consider that a database....or any type of information tied with others peoples info would be considered as a database...

Posted by: Niki on Aug 9, 2008 at 09:52 AM
All you people that are knocking Christian beliefs...What do I have to lose if I am wrong in my beiefs? This pales in comparison with all that I have to gain if I am right- eternal life, streets of gold, a mansion in the sky, praising my Creator for all eternity!! What could be better?!?! How about a little tolerance? All of you that are not Chritians feel that we should be tolerant of your beliefs, so how about a little of this tolerance you speak of?

Every knee shall bow, & declare that Jesus is Lord. So to those of you trying to "belittle" us Christians, God loves you just as he loves me. Once you realize that, you'll have a better grasp on the reality of Jesus Christ. I don't think the digitized photo is a mark of the beast. I do however, believe once I have left this world, I won't have to worry about the mark of the beast.

As a Christian I see where this thought process comes from, but I don't think this in particular is the mark of the beast. But, I do believe in being weary of such things, just not so sure this is it or even the beginning of it. If I go missing, a picture of me is readily available. I've always thought of the Mark of the Beast being literally something applied to the skin. I don't claim to be the most versed on it. Not to turn this into a religious battle, but "rapture" is never mentioned in the Bible, for what its worth. I've always found it ironic for people to mention it while telling people to read their Bible, but that's just my opinion, and everyone is entitled to one...who am I to say I'm right or wrong?

It will happen no matter what you do or protest about, when God says its time than its time. Fearing technology and advancements in technology does not mean the world is ending.

BOOK OF REVELATION CHAPTER 13-VERSES 16-18 16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Im sure your drivers lic # or SS# isnt this, but it is only an example of what is to come. I wish people wouldnt make fun but-1st Cor. 1:18-For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God!!!

The government is already trying to control the people in every aspect of their life that they possibly can.I think it's a good thing that people stand up and refuse to take the digitized license. The REAL I.D.is next. Most people don't have any clue about that either. However, walking with blind faith behind everything that the government says is absurd People do not realize that their LIBERTIES are being taken away slowly.1 right at a time.Little by little,it likens itself to a frog in boiling water. If you throw a frog into boiling water it will try and get out,but if you put it in cool water and slowly turn up the heat,it will sit and cook just like the American people are doing with its blind obedience to the government.I guess you must remain a slave though when your welfare check is issued by Big Brother. You no longer think for yourself.I Love America and think this nation is a great place, but don't fool yourself by thinking blind faith to the government is PATRIOTISM.WE THE PEOPLE !

I fail to make the connection between the mark of the beast and digitized photos. My understanding was that the mark would appear on a person's skin: their hand or forehead. A barcode is on the card, not your skin. I don't understand what the problem is.

Hey Sue at 3:49! Since you called me dummy, I will oblige your ignorant post. Here's the link to the old man's ad linking Obama to the anti-Christ: http://rawstory.com/news/2008/McCain_ad_said_to_link_Obama_0808.html Enjoy!

Just another "RELIGIOUS FANATIC"

Posted by: anon-1 on Aug 8, 2008 at 06:19 PM
I don't have a problem with digitizing photos. To me that is just like having a digital camera photo stored on a computer. However, if it gets any further than this such as fingerprinting, chip, etc., I will oppose it. To those of you making fun of the Bible and Christianity, be careful what you say. You may regret it in the future.

TO ASHLEY DECKER: I love you!!!(in a non-sexual strictly internet friendship kinda way) It is good to see a fellow heathen out doing the Devil's work(which is common sense). You have the best comment I have ever seen on WSAZ.COM. Seriously, thank you for your comment.

Posted by: Charlie on Aug 8, 2008 at 05:53 PM
What is digitized license ? Exactly the point here, anyone know for sure /probably not but what this guy and a lot of other people oppose is opening the door for computer chip identification where a chip is inserted under the skin /read up on it you may have a different opinion afterwards.

Posted by: not that bad on Aug 8, 2008 at 05:32 PM
I see everyone making fun of this, but this isnt so far fetched in terms of religious beliefs. Christitans get baptized. Yes, they dunk them underwater to rid them of sin. Catholics and MEthodists tkae communion (the body and blood of Christ). WHen looked at in a literal manner, it seem ssomewhat silly. But when you add faith and religion, it becomes very serious. And as far as the mark of the beast, who's to say that the antichrist wont set up shop early (he's supposed to already be here when the rapture occurs). Again, the bible is often translated loosely because of its age. It is not necessarily a slippery slope to think that a universal identification system could represent more.

Christianity is good for something, entertainment. Christians never cease to amaze me. Why be born again when you could just grow up?

Posted by: Kyle on Aug 8, 2008 at 05:13 PM
This is rediclus, people need to get with the times. I understand people having religious belifes, as I myself am religious. This is still crazy. I bet these people shop at Hobby Lobby.

Posted by: anon-1 on Aug 8, 2008 at 04:24 PM
I agree with the DMV giving options for those whoe feat the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is real. It is not a superstition. I can understand not wanting your fingerprint being scanned and stored. However, not wanting photos digitized? That's like not wanting your photos taken with a digital camera.

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 04:23 PM
I do not wish my pic taken by the DMV because the camera may steal my soul. Good ol' WV still living in the 11th Century!

Posted by: ... on Aug 8, 2008 at 04:23 PM
Ridiculous. I wonder if he's afraid to use the internet, because everytime you type "www", it translates to the number "666".

Posted by: levi on Aug 8, 2008 at 04:21 PM
ol nooooooooooooooo the world is coming to an end save your self

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 04:19 PM
They still have a photo divers license it just like the old ones where they took your picture and the lamanted it. Its not costing the state anything expect dragging the old equipment out of storage, and keeping a hard copy in a filing cabinet. What do you think they did before all the new technology.

Posted by: Please people Please on Aug 8, 2008 at 04:00 PM
OMG...until the gov't insists on having a flashing 666 LED light or some tatoo like mark stenciled into your forehead or on your arm/hand, then stop with the paranoia please!

Posted by: Alana on Aug 8, 2008 at 03:51 PM
I am a Christian and I think this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of! If these people really read their Bibles they'd know what the "mark" really is. THIS is not it!

Posted by: Sue on Aug 8, 2008 at 03:46 PM
David@ 12:59, Hey dummy, show the commercial that claimed Obama is the anti-Christ? I have an idea, why don't you get an education and get away from the public library computers. Any of you other armchair politicos need to check out factcheck.org before you start spouting off about who said what and what is true. Now, is this DMV thing a joke? Seriously? The Book of Revelations is about the Roman Empire. Any scholar worth their degrees will tell you that. Only Bible thumping fundamentalists believe anything different. Of course, I believe it is all a fairy tale anyway, but it is within a person's rights to believe in fairy tales.

Posted by: Christian With a Working Brain on Aug 8, 2008 at 03:34 PM
I question where in the Bible does this person find that the "mark" is in anyway related to digital photography? In the King James Version it's referred to as a mark on the right hand or forehead and not as an image or picture.

Posted by: Melanie on Aug 8, 2008 at 03:27 PM
See, it's this kind of thing that made me move away from my HOME state

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 02:41 PM
guess he will be the only one not taking the "mark of the beast" I wonder if anyone else in his church has a drivers liccense . He should have warned us all before we got ours.

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 02:19 PM
What do they look like??? I want to see a pic of it before I go get one. I for one will not get one if its supposed to have the mark of the beast on it.

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 02:16 PM
This sounds very paranoid and downright strange.

Posted by: Bewildered on Aug 8, 2008 at 02:13 PM
He needs to read the bible. The mark of the beast does not take place until after the church is raptured and great tribulaton begins here on earth (revelatons). We don't need to worry about mark of the beast of the antichrist until the church is raptured. Those who are going to heaven don't even need to worry about it then.

Posted by: Jeremy on Aug 8, 2008 at 01:59 PM
There is no reason for the DMV to bow down to these idiots. I do think the DMV should have said take the photo like every one else or take the bus home. What the hell we these people do every time they use a ATM or walk in to a store with a digital CCTV and oh my burning baby jesus walk outside, a satalite might just take their digital picture there too!

Posted by: no beast on Aug 8, 2008 at 01:50 PM
Is "the beast" and expert with digitized photography? I don't get it. Please explain.

Posted by: Heather on Aug 8, 2008 at 01:47 PM
Ridiculous...I have a problem with lots of things... maybe I need to start blaming relgion.. like.. I only need to work 4 hours a day because I'm reverse Amish... lol....when will it end?

Posted by: ALICE on Aug 8, 2008 at 01:38 PM
I would not want to be "Required" to have a bar-coded ID. This is a good option.

Posted by: Zeek on Aug 8, 2008 at 01:32 PM
This is ridiculous. Religious nuts.

Posted by: charles carroll on Aug 8, 2008 at 01:16 PM
Its good west virginia can humor these people , by doing this they have rendered the prince of darkness powerless .everyone knows satin cant function without his digitizer .Thanks again to the good God fearing people with the dmv .I wonder if it is against anyones religion to take a brethalizer test ?

Posted by: Pastor Bob on Aug 8, 2008 at 01:08 PM
Ya know, every time technology advances it doesn't mean the world is ending. I would suppose these folks don't have telephone numbers because they are the mark of the beast also. Lighten up folks.

Posted by: David on Aug 8, 2008 at 12:59 PM
Are you kidding me? First we have wrinkly, old McSame running an ad "claiming" Senator Obama is the Anti-christ. And now THIS???? READ YOUR BIBLES; don't stop reading INTO them!

Posted by: Sam on Aug 8, 2008 at 12:43 PM
Why is the state accommodating these people? Jesus told me that having my picture made was a sin...can I get a license with no picture at all?

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 12:30 PM
good folks if you read your bible you know better than to think such as this unless you know more than god does

Posted by: The Film Geek on Aug 8, 2008 at 12:18 PM
I always thought the whole Mark Of The Beast thing might really work well. You know, never having to worry about carrying cash, and always being able to get information about people from a central data base anytime it's needed. Although I don't really believe in the whole "beast" mythology, I think it might be an effective way to stay organized.

Posted by: anon on Aug 8, 2008 at 12:13 PM
Oh for pity's sake. I am a christian but come on people!

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 11:55 AM
You've got to be kidding me. If they believe in that stuff then they should know that the end will come and they can't prevent it.

Posted by: Chris on Aug 8, 2008 at 11:42 AM
They need drug tested!

Posted by: ??????? on Aug 8, 2008 at 11:26 AM
What is "digitized"? Guess I am out of the loop. Nice of the DMV to respect the wishes of people who have these religious beliefs.

Posted by: Wanda on Aug 8, 2008 at 11:17 AM
Is this available in every county? If so how can we get one?

Posted by: Bible Thumper on Aug 8, 2008 at 10:30 AM
It's people like these that keeps the state dead last in transitioning to the information-type of economy. The nation as a whole is in a huge transition, but West Virginia is as always) stagnating because of religious cults like this.

Posted by: booger on Aug 8, 2008 at 09:57 AM
I fear poverty, does that mean I don't have to pay taxes anymore?

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 09:52 AM
OMG! Are you kidding me? Mark of the beast? Some people will do just about anything to get what they want. I believe the teacher should have had to had his picture taken like everyone else or go without a license. How much of our tax dollars were spent on these special licenses?

Posted by: Debbie on Aug 8, 2008 at 09:49 AM
6666 ARMEGEDDON!!! whatever.

Posted by: Stephanie on Aug 8, 2008 at 09:26 AM
You cant stop what will be no matter the effort.

Posted by: Melissa on Aug 8, 2008 at 09:10 AM
This is STUPID.... THE Law states that you must provide a photo id to a police officer if you are stopped by them so they acan properly identify you.. HELLO how are they gonna know who is causing trouble if they can't match the photo with who is in front of them./.. OH I GET IT !!! religious people don't cause problems !!! oh ok now I see... DUH !!!!

Posted by: Linda on Aug 8, 2008 at 09:10 AM
The above is just plain silly...what a waste of money. And Mr. Hudok should know, maybe it is or not, the mark of the beast, but why worry? If you are a Christian you won't be around anyway, Mr. Hudok, have you heard of the word RAPTURE?

Posted by: Amanda on Aug 8, 2008 at 09:02 AM
this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, people have got to start thinking rationally about things, not everything relates back to the rapture. Why don't they put this energy into opposing Iraq war? If any sign is the beginning of the end its whats going on in the middle east.

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 8, 2008 at 08:55 AM
Well. I guess you shouldn't purchase items from stores either. They all have barcodes as well.

Posted by: Bob on Aug 8, 2008 at 08:53 AM
Everyone knows the mark of the beast is your social security number. And the anti-Christ is Bush.

Posted by: cg on Aug 8, 2008 at 08:48 AM
Yes lets bend over backwards for these poor misled people.I hope on the way to Charleston they don't drive off the edge of the earth.

Posted by: Whatever on Aug 8, 2008 at 08:36 AM
Geesh--typical bible belt decision. All I can say is that I think the time, effort, and money spent on this garbage could be better used elsewhere in this state.

Posted by: Scott on Aug 8, 2008 at 08:29 AM
What?!? This is just plain ridiculous. Just like people who have to purchase something else when their total is $6.66. Hogwash!

People, put down your bibles and use some common sense. This isn't the medieval times. Time to do away with superstitions and pick up some science books. The end is not coming. The end has been coming for 2000 years now. Stop prophesying BS end of the world stuporstition(misspelled on purpose). Anything that has a beginning has to have an end, that is just common sense. It is not coming from a picture.
