CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Another buyer could be interested in the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department property on Lee Street.

Jay Goldman told Kanawha County Commissioners Thursday that he has a very interested buyer. Goldman is the commission's consultant.

Goldman says the buyer is interested in placing a bid on the property, but the group has asked to remain anonymous. The group does plan to send commissioners a letter showing its intent.

Board members have already voted to move the health department to the Morris Square property at Appalachian Power Park. Construction to convert that building into a health department could take nearly a year.
