911 dispatchers say Route 94 has re-opened.



UPDATE @ 5:13pm
Our crew at the scene reports that the truck appears to be an empty dump truck--and it collided with a pickup truck.

Emergency crews tell us three people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

HERNSHAW, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An accident between a truck and a car on Route 94 in Kanawha County has traffic halted in both directions.

It happened at about 4:15pm near the intersection of Six Mile Hollow.

Metro 911 says it was a head-on crash and at least one person was trapped. At least three people were reportedly hurt.

Route 94 will be closed for some time.

Dude, the driver had his knee shattered, how was it then he ran? Perhaps you should concentrate on the facts more, and less on rumor

Yesterday evening's accident is anorher prime example of how much cell phone service is needed. From Hernsshaw, on route 94,we have no cell phone coverage. We really need it! Peope were stranded and no way to let anyone know anything. And whene there are wrecks, there is no way to let emergency crews know. What will it take to get cell coverage?? I am thankful there were no life threatning injuries.

so who got sited? in the crash? the guys in the pick up truck was drinking and the driver ran why dont you put the real stuff in your storys
