What a joke this use to be the grandest thing but to much in house fighting has turned this in to a joke gone are the great regattas of the 80's and 90's like so many towns charleston could not thrive because of their greed so if you want to experence a real regatta go to Marietta next weekend and see how it is done they have keep with the original theme Sternwheel and it blows this clear out of the water
