CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Deputies say a man and his wife are under arrest for their roles in robbing a grocery store.

The robbery happened at the Fas-Chek Supermarket on Route 10 in Cabell County on August 18th.

Sheriff Deputies say 40- year-old Richard Slone of Lincoln County went into the grocery store, grabbed $150 from the cashier's drawer and took off.

Investigators say his wife, 31-year old Carman Slone drove the getaway vehicle. They also say she stole a purse from a vehicle in the store's parking lot.

Detectives say that store surveillance video that we showed on WSAZ.com earlier this week helped identify the couple.

The Slone’s have actually been in the Western Regional Jail since 2-days after the robbery.

Detectives say they were arrested in Lincoln County for stealing a U-Haul truck in Huntington a day after the store robbery.

Foxy the pharmacy I use knows what prescriptions they have had filled, even if it was not from them, but I also know one pharmacy that does not have that database and it seems to be the most popular. I think they are should have to have that program. Something needs to be done with all these robberies. They need stiffer penalties, because it is just going to get worse.

Foxy.. then she knows the crappy pharmicist... if she is taking one perscription to several pharmacies.. then they are not doing their job by calling them in.

TO KATHY: Kathy Kathy Kathy don't you know by now, the drugs that these scums take, makes them STUPID. They probably think that their face is covered. Then again, the courts just sent them right back into society, so why not rob. Their is no reason not to when you see everyone everywhere get away with it. If they would only rob from the pill pusher so called doctors then maybe this pill problem would go away. They sell their pain pills to get other drugs. When they are out they rob. Stop the Doctors and Doctor shopping. For those of you that do not know what doctor shopping is, it is going to more than one doctor and getting pills and going to different pharmacys for their pills. Cash to one pharmacy, welfare insurance(medical card) to the other pharmacy. no I do not do it, but my sorry of air sister-in-law does, and is quite proud of it.

what is WRONG with these dummies who walk into a place, rob it and don't even TRY to cover their faces? are they STUPID criminals or just that arrogant that they won't get ID'd and caught? seems like there's a LOT of them out there now...maybe they DID learn a lesson from the duct-tape bandit - How much that tape HURTS when they pull it off! Seriously, we're going to see more & more of this the worse the economy gets as well as the same old drug bunch robbing and B&E home invasions Glad no one was hurt
