MT. NEBO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One man was killed, two others hurt in an accident on Route 19 in Nicholas County Wednesday afternoon.
According to a news release from the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department, a Ford Focus and a Ford F-250 pickup truck collided at the intersection of Route 19 and Route 129 in Mt. Nebo.
Deputies say the driver of the Focus, 56-year-old Fredrick Nutter of Glenville, died in the crash. His passenger, 52-year-old Debra Ford of Davisville, was flown to CAMC in Charleston.
The driver of the pickup, 57-year-old Mark McClung of Mt. Lookout, was taken to Summersville Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
No charges have been filed in the accident.
