CARTER COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Skeletal remains found last month in rural Carter County have been identified as a 33-year-old Charleston, W.Va., man, according to information from the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's Office.
The man's name was Timothy W. Sigman. Identification was made with dental records by the medical examiner's office.
On Aug. 7, Kentucky State Police Post 14 received information that there were human remains on Leadingham Branch in the Willard area of Carter County. Detectives from Post 14 arrived and found what appeared to be skeletal remains.
In a separate incident, the medical examiner's office has identified remains found by construction workers in a wooded area off of Happy Ridge Road near the Boyd/Greenup county line in Kentucky. The person is identified as Delbert Dillow, age and hometown unavailable. Dillow was reported missing to Kentucky State Police in July 1999. No foul play is suspected in that case at this time.
