HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) --Police picked up four men for transporting and having stolen guns.

According to witness statements to police the four also matched the descriptions of the people accused of firing shots into a car in the back of the Red Iguana.

Police say they were driving a white car, as descripted by witnesses in the other report.

Around 3am, officers responded to a shots fired call behind a bar in the 800-block of 4th Avenue. They found .45 shell casings near where they believe the shots were fired.

Officers stopped the white Mazda Millenia at the corner of 9th Street and 4th Avenue shortly after the shooting.

Police tell us they found a handgun under the drivers seat and one in the trunk inside a sock. It’s unclear if those were the weapons used in the shooting. According to the reports it appears those two guns are of a different caliber.

No one was injured in the shooting. Police arrested these four men charging them with misdemeanor crimes: Anthony Garrett, Ronnie Turner, Daniel Johnson and Mauryl Garrett.

Anthony wasn't allowed to carry guns and was charged for it. All suspects were also charged with concealing a deadly device.

there are more serious cases to worry about than this...big whooop...shots were fired(no one injured) and shell casings dont even match...police need to worry about more serious things...like why ppl that need to be locked up out runnin around chillin ...

media literacy? Don't believe everything you read. And please please please, read and use your brain. Do the shell casings match? Was there any mention of proof the gun had been recently fired? Once again the HPD got the wrong guys. The guys who are were really shooting are laughing like hell. I guess if the description is a black guy you pull over the first car you see with black guys. Oh yeah and it says "it's unclear if these guns were used in the shooting", Yeah right. It's perfectly clear and was clear that night that those guns were not the ones used. I promise you won't see a follow up story to report that.

Obama 08' Higher taxes on rich people would have helped this situation. Could have got these fine upstanding urbanites into some social programs.

Great job HPD for the quick capture of these criminals!. Thanks for the great job you all do. Funny how no one comments when they capture these types so quick but had they gotten away, there would have been 20 comments on here saying how bad the HPD is. Sad.

WOW!!! 4th Ave & 8th Street....nightclubs...haven't we been here done that a kazillion times? No news here folks! Just more of these "innocent" clubs along 4th Avenue FRESHMEN! Welcome to Huntington AND MARSHALL! And welcome to OUR world! This is what we have to live with and put up with in our once quiet, beautiful, prosperous and SAFE town! Can't get up & down 4th Avenue anytime of day or night without having to dodge bullets!

You might want to change the word "shot" to "short" in the last sentence
