KANAWHA CITY, W.Va. (WSAZ)-Around 2:30 Saturday morning a man wearing a yellow shirt came into the Donut Connection and ordered the workers to get on the ground. The suspect took an unknown amount of money and ran out the door.

There is no word if there was a weapon involved in the robbery. No one was injured. Police are still looking for the suspect.

You people need to quit bashing law enforcement about donut shops. I know several cops that don't even like donuts. I was in the donut shop the morning of the robbery. There were several cops there but they were ordered face down on the ground like myself. By the time we were allowed to get up, the robber was gone. So they took a report and we gave them a free round of donuts.

There were no cops because the Jolly Pirate down the street had a batch that just came out. I think they were the kind with powered sugar or some kind of white powder on them.
