LOGAN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- We all know we are supposed to wear our seatbelts, but here's a prime example of why forgetting to buckle up could mean the difference between life and death.

Donna Cooper was killed Thursday night after she lost control of her car on Route 8 in the Lake area of Logan County.

Deputies say Cooper was thrown from the car. She wasn't wearing her seatbelt.

Deputies say speed may have played a factor in the crash.

I am sorry for the loss but no wonder people make fun of people from Southern West Virginia. Wreck is spelled like WRECK NOT RECK. Again sorry for the loss.

A persons life was taken in the tragic accident and all PABLO and JIM want to do is bash the candiates!!!! Have some compassion for this family. My prayers are with this family as they deal with such a heartache.

My prayers are with Donna's family. I grew up in Lake and know that safty belts have never been inforced in Logan. The roads are in need of repair and people drive way to fast for the curvy roads. You never see police officers in this area unless something tragic such as this happens. I'm suprised this made the news because there have been several recks that has taken peoples lives including one 6months ago in which a small child died (That was not in a car seat). Their has been several drug overdoses in this area and nothing is being done because again there are never any police officers around unless it's to late! And what does the election and Obama have to do with this subject? Wrong story Jim we are talking about a reck in Gods country not Obama's!
