LOGAN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- If you live in Logan County, WSAZ.com has information you need to know.

A major leak in the system means a boil water advisory in effect for the following areas: Stollings and McConnell, and from Three Mile Curve to Madison Creek. The boil advisory affects all city of Logan water customers.

Boil your water for a few minutes before cooking or drinking. You do not need to boil your water to take a shower or wash your hands.

Due to the water issues, the West Virginia Department of Education's website shows that the following schools will be closed Monday, March 16th:

-Logan High School
-Logan Middle School
-Logan Grade School
-Verdunville Grade School
-Willis Career Technical Center
-Dehue School

Sandy, These guys who are doing their best, which I am sure they are , Are in fact getting paid to be there so chill. I cant help but wonder if you are out. Geesh get over yourself n off your high house . We are living like pioneers here n are not happy about it. Deal with it. You try using highpriced bottled water to flush your toilet n pack heated water for over an hour to take a bath.

It is hard to go without water..a person dont realize how much water they do use in a day ..I went today to buy jugs of water to hold me off till they can have a chance to get it back on..so hopefully it will be back on soon...cause it is rough without it ...

how can wendys, mcdonalds.etc is open and have no water. shouldnt they be reported to the health dep. i went to wendys sat and still no warer around, and they couldnt serve any soft drinks. i thought when u work in a place like that u had to wash ur hands? maybe im wrong.
