The newly built Public Higher Education Center will open its doors Monday in Beckley.

Dubbed a higher education mall, the facility will be the first
of its kind in West Virginia.

The campus will put the satellite offices of eight state
colleges under one roof. That helps the schools cut costs and gives
students access to a variety of courses.

The new campus has high tech classrooms and a convenient
location off Interstate 64.

Students can enroll in classes from New River Community and
Technical College, Southern West Virginia Community and Technical
College, West Virginia University Institute of Technology, WVU
Extension Service, WVU Tech Community and Technical College,
Bluefield State College, Concord University and Marshall
University.
