CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Charleston lawyer Dan Greear will be taking on incumbent Attorney General Darrell McGraw in November.

McGraw, who has held the post since 1992, was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Greear won the GOP nomination over fellow lawyer Hiram Lewis, who narrowly lost to McGraw in 2004.

Greear has said that if elected he would refocus the duties of that office on serving as a lawyer for state agencies.
