HANDLEY, W.Va (WSAZ) -- The results are in and Handley's Mayor will keep his post. Handley is in Eastern Kanawha County.

Mayor Essie Ford, Jr. received 69 votes in Tuesday's election. Alice Skip Lake got 58 votes.

Debbie Matics will remain as the town's recorder.

Seven candidates wanted a spot on Handley's City Council, but only five can serve as leaders.

JoAnn McClure, Billy Maddox, Matthew Maddox, Jack Hutchinson, and Iva Estep all won a spot on council.
