United States Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) has a slight advantage over his Democratic opponent Bruce Lunsford, according to a poll from Rasmussen Reports.

The poll out Friday has McConnell with 48% support compared to 41% for Lunsford.

The trend favors McConnell. He is up this month, compared to a similar poll from Rasmussen last month in which McConnell trailed Lunsford by five percentage points.

Rasmussen considers this seat vulnerable for McConnell, because he is currently polling with under 50% support. McConnell has been in the United States Senate since 1984.

After 8 years of George W. Bush/Dick Cheney I don't know how anyone could vote for a Republican now? I mean, we are at such rock bottom, any Democrat would be worth voting for over a Republican. Just check McConnell's voting record. He's voted for every mistake Bush/Cheney has asked him too. Kentucky, you can do better than McConnell.

The people of Kentucky are always thought of as hillbillies that blindly do what they are told but Mitch McConnell is in for the surprise of his political life this year as Kentuckians have the better choice of a smart, hard working guy that is more like them. Prissy Mitch and his band of Bushy bunglers have driven into the ditch.

Look around are you better of now? Mitch & George have ruined this country. The money spent on the Iraq war could have been spent here in America and got us off depending on foreign oil. Wind mills, solar panels, nuclear power plants and car like the EV 1 GM had in 1995 battery but they and texaco killed it. Look it up who killed the electric car. Mitch does not care for our troops. They are loosing their homes. The rats in Walter reed hospital and mould. Sending them to Iraq 4 times. They are wore out. All Mitch is instered in is Mitch. Mitch & George have wasted more money in seven & half years than any other president in history. Remember ENRON big oil is another ENRON but this time it is going cause the whole country to be destroyed not just California. Because of Mitch & George China now owns the U. S. They can take us over without FIREING A SHOT. Four more years with Mitch & McBush we won,t have pot to S--- in. Remember 3 great men IKE, John S.Cooper & Melvin Larid. Read

If you are a female, you should investigage the last vote in Congress with regard to equal pay for jobs performed. Mitch McConnell led the fight against the passage of this bill. He fought the Lilly Ledbetter act, and he supports higher pay for males who perform the same jobs as females. DISGUSTING! I, for one, am ready for change. It is time to Ditch Mitch. Out with the old and in with the new. One thing is definitely sure, a completely new administration would no worse than the one we have now!
