CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- New polling from Mark Blankenship Enterprises shows the John McCain/Sarah Palin Republican presidential ticket has a 5% lead over the Barack Obama/Joe Biden Democratic presidential ticket in West Virginia.

A poll of 432 registered and likely voters taken over this last weekend shows McCain/Palin with 44% support compared to 39% support for Obama/Biden. 17% of voters are undecided.

MBE points out that 27% of those undecided voters define themselves as Independents. So far, McCain is grabbing a majority of those Independent voters in West Virginia.

The poll shows 45% of likely voters identify themselves as conservative in West Virginia, regardless of Democrat, Republican or Independent registration.

The democrats have been in control for two years. Most bills that they want to pass require 2/3 of the senate since they only won by a slim margin they cannot accomplish all that they want too. Not to mention the fact that the president can veto anything he wants. When all else fails, blame the democrats and Clinton. It is getting old. 6 of the last eight years republicans have been in complete control and for the most part they still are. It is ridiculous to blame a party that has only been in control of the senate for two years for the problems we have faced for the last eight. It's brainwashing and it's a lie.

The republicans are missing the chance to burry the democrates. We the people can see that the demacrates do nothing. If you look at the time when Bush became president the country was going into a down slide. The republicans fixed the problem quickly. Its very funny that the house and senate are controlled by the democrates and they are doing nothing. Oil prices have gone through the roof under the control of the democrates. Why can't the people see the problem? Its the do nothing democrates in control. The president does not control the economy, nor does he have control of gas pricing, but the senate and house do. They are doing nothing to solve or problems. If the house and senate voted tomarrow morning to end all gas engine vehicles by the end of 2009, we would not miss a beat and be driving new hydrogen, electrical or even nucular cars that would reduce or oil consumption, not to mention no more co2 output. So why dont they? Kick backs from BIG OIL!!!!!!!!!

SHE DID SAY THAT. Watch the interview. She was asked if she would go to wa rover Georgia and she said "most definitly. She did not say she would help them, she said she would go to war with Russia. Her answer was strange. Sara Palin is not a proven leader. She left a town of 9000 people in debt and she has been gov for 20 months. It's ridiculous.
