CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A group of seniors from Cross Lanes Christian School are going to catch up on some sleep after spending Friday on the campaign trail.
While they might be a bit sleepy, the teenagers are energized about Decision 2008. Some people might get to see a national candidate once in a lifetime, but the seniors have the pictures to prove they saw Sarah Palin and Barack Obama -- all in one day.
Their teacher, Scott Phillips, let us in on their day during a group discussion. Phillips said he hopes the students will someday be conscientious adults who vote, although most are too young to cast their ballots in next month’s election.
