CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- On the heels of the first positive poll for Barack Obama in West Virginia, MSNBC shifted its analysis of West Virginia to a state "leaning McCain."

American Research Group released a poll showing the Democrat Obama with an 8% lead over John McCain in West Virginia at 50% to 42%. Republican John McCain has been out ahead in all other polls released in West Virginia.

MSNBC's political team of Chuck Todd, Mark Murray, Domenico Montanaro, and Carrie Dann released an analysis Monday morning pointing out that there is a shift in West Virginia. The quartet claim it's because of the "economic angst" in the country.

The Cook Political Report currently lists West Virginia as a toss up state.

As you know many kids spend most of their time on the phone or in front of a video game... the ads on the games are to get the young adults that are old enough to vote(DUH).What a shame that our children spend more time on video games and not family time( This is his message to you). God help us all if we have to live in our past and are being juged that way... I hope you have nothing in your past that your not willing to be juged for eveyday and in your future. I think the saying is clean out your own closet before you worry about someone else. I don't know of one thing Obama has been flip floped on, but again everyone to their own opinion...MCCAIN has chose to run a negative campain instead of dealing with the issues at hand and this is the reason Obama has the advantage.Choosing a President should be based on what they have to offer the country and not all the stupid alligations that no one has proof to support...Pray for your hardened heart and ask God who he wants as our leader.

Why is it Senator Obama claims against kids playing video games but, he has authorized and is paying for ads, billboards on these very games he is so opposed to. Double Standard and a flip flop again? Every single issue he has done this. Your past is your present and most likely your future, a cheattah does not change it's spots, and neither does a politician.

First of all gaetano, just because everyone doesn't think the way you do doesn't make them stupid.I would like to know where you live that your economy doesn't need change? When you as the others that claim all of this about Obama can put some proof on this in front of us stupid and ignorant people,we will probably make our own decisions about him with the evidence put in front of us...Do you even know what a muslim? much less a radical, terrorist? I doubt it very much, you as many others get on the internet and read every crazy alligation about everyone and believe what fits your way of thinking rather it makes since or not...How did Obama get elected into congress in the first place if he was believed to be all that you claim? You are racist and don't have the courage just to write about that,so you hide behind the name calling and alligations to justify your way of thinking. When you have hard evidence of all you claim,be sure to put it on here for us stupid people

Posted by: gaetano on Oct 24, 2008 at 05:13 AM
I cannot coprehen the thinking of you stupid ,ignorrant democrats.I believe too in change. Our economy does need a change, but you better think about having a country at all first, befor you pick a radical, terrorist affiliated, black muslim.

Manchin came from a father that worked menial jobs to open a furniture store that did well. Manchin's brother worked as a coal miner. He moved his way up the ladder and was not born there like Rockefeller.

more bad news for obama:ittb has the national race from 47-40 to 47-43 today. zogby had the national numbers 48-42.5 yesterday today its 47-44.2, 2.8 margin. oh by the way ittp was the most accurate polster along with rasmusson and survey usa in 2oo4. Plus ppp(democrat polster) has wva at 50-42 mccain, and mason dixon/msnbc another dem polster has it 47-40 for mccain as of today. both polls agree that the undecideds normally breaks for the underdog nationally. so if the election were held today mccain wins about 55-45 in wva. remember bush beat gore by 6.3, and bush beat kerry 56-43. so mccain up between 7-10 is very plausible. the other 2 polls in september also had mccain with an 11 and a 17 and a 5 point margin. I know alot about polling i used to work for a major polling firm. if the election were held today mccain wins ohio, wva, nc, and obama wins fla, missouri, while nev, and colorado our absolute tossups.

Sandy, Everyone knows what you are saying is needed for us in the worse kind of way. This is being used against you now! Yes it's that bad here now in this country! Your needs and lack of health care is being used by the rich poeple to lead you just before election and take more of your freedoms. Where did Obama come from? Where did Rockefeller come from? Where did Manchin come from and what is their past history? We need new blood in WV for sure and Obama will be the final nail in our coffins. Him being raised up in Moslems hands, his connections with Chicago politics and the radical church that he claims should tell you all you need to know! Don't fall for this bigger lie or it's all over for us! May God be with us and our country! This change of times is a killer..

Posted by: Sandy on Oct 17, 2008 at 09:46 AM
I live in West Virginia and I support Obama. This country needs new blood with new and fresh ideas. You always hear that he does not have enough experience to be President, but the way I see it what we have had for the past 8 years has done nothing except put us into a depression. How many homeless people do we have in the United States? My guess is to many for the amount of money spent outside this country. No one in the United States should be without health care and a place to live being that we have the money to rebuild other countries.Obama has more to offer the American people other than the rich keep getting rich and the middle class continues to struggle and except the excuses of our leaders in this country right now... People open your eyes and learn that change is exactly what this country thrives for right now.You can't change your mind after election day and this nation continues to fail, and you find youself without work or a home,It is to late!! Give this country fresh air.

Well Mr. Linvill, When people say I am not going to vote for a Obama because he is an Arab (which he is not) or because he is black....what should we think. Obama will not win W.V. because he is black, not because of what he stands for. That is not right.

Posted by: Randall R. Linville on Oct 16, 2008 at 09:48 PM
why is it that if your white and proud of it your a racist, but if your black and proud of it its ok? I thought Obama was suppose to be 50% black and 50% white.

How do u know that the one god is not allah stop and think before u answer bet your answer is the bible well who is to say the bible is right and the koran is not did u ever stop to think that just maybe this whole religion thing is made up the bible says god created the heavens and earth so under that assumption their must of been someone before to name it earth maybe a scientist or did god name the planets before hand. and who made god so he could make the plants this is a question that i have never been able to get answered by 1 single preacher or rabbi or priest they say he just was so am i to believe in an imaginary being and if so why just one and not the other. So when you come up with the answer please let me and the world know but dont base your answer on hearsay and something that some one told someone that told someone else that was said by someone. I have heard preachers say the old testament dont apply since the king james version came out so is jesus more inportant than god

To Anonymous: Partial birth abortion is banned in the U.S. and no President can change that. We were fooled by that argument in 2000 and 2004 and look where that got us. Quit trying to sway the election with something that has nothing to do with current events. We cannot stand 4 or 8 more years of Neo-Cons that use issues like Abortion Rights and 2nd Amendment Rights only to get elected to further their own agenda and make their cronies rich. It isn't going to work in 2008. Vote for change. Vote Obama.

Posted by: Anonymous on Oct 15, 2008 at 04:50 PM
WSAZ, Why didn't you post my comments describing the gruesome procedure of partial birth abortion in detail for all Obama supporters to hear? This is what he supports? Was it too gruesome? That's because it's a gruesome act.

Where were all of your predictions of doomsday when G.W. Bush was campaigning. He is the fake Christian. How can someone who curses like a sailor be a true faith person? How can someone who is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands based on a lie be truly faithful? How can someone who has created the potential for a new holy war be a faithful follower? Bush's lack of integrity should be visible to all. He has covered and pardoned crimes committed by those around him. He authorizes torture. He authorizes spying on American citizens. He claims to be pro-life, but yet wishes to cut off all health care for children. He claims to be pro-life but cut off a program that aided elderly and low income citizens in obtaining food. He claims we are fighting for our freedoms. This is lying. He wants Iraq's oil. He is breaking a commandment by coveting that which his neighbor has. Bush fits the definition of Anti-Christ better than Obama.

WELL! I DON"T LIKE MCcain OR Obama!!! I really don't, I just really don't know what to do. I see good and bad in both, I just don't think they have what it takes. This happend last time we had to vote for President. They give us all good lip but when it comes down to it, what can they REALLY do when they get into office. Without the backing of the rest of Washington what chance do they have in giving us what they say they will... How will all this end. I guess we have to wait and see, the only reason I would vote for Obama is to see the back end of GWB, and this war we were lied to about, but can that be the only reason? or SHOULD that be the only reason... I'm just not sure. I've really NEVER had this problem before, ever. It's getting close to Vote time, and I WILL vote. I just don't know yet...

If you racist it does not matter to me i could care less but if so be honest dont try to sugar coat it with lame excuses that how we got into iraq.Heres another little tidbit McCain went to grade school with a kid that commited murder should we hold that against him when we vote i dont think so stop and think before you speak instead of proving you ignorance

After reading these post I have came to the conclussion that some of you people should not be allowed close to a ballot box.The mis-information is so great that it isn't even funny anymore, how some of you people come up with this foolishness is beyond rational thinking but i guess you'll have that in uneducated regions such as yours and the inability to do a little research seems to be extra hard work that is beyond your capabilities. This is the reason laws should be put into effect that you have to at least have a clue about an issue to be be allowed to vote and if you IQ is lower than your shoe size you don't get to vote which would knock some of you out.Adew yrs ago Ross Perot was called a kook but seems he was smarter than George Bush I heard that Palin is involved with the KGB and is planning on taken over the US with help from Russia but I dont believe it and I dont believe Obama is a Muslim how do i know these are lies I looked it up and many of you need to do the same

U people on here slinging names should consider that before u call everyone who doesnt like Obama a racist because u never stop to think about that did u? Did u think every african american in the world would vote for this man, I seriously doubt it, skin color shouldnt and doesnt matter to most people and if it does they have no business voting. Then there r u people on here downgrading people 4 there belief in GOD,to each their own but wake up people there is only 1 God and it aint ALLAH,u can call me bible beater whatever i don't care it is just sad to me that u know no better, but I am glad to see the comments on here about the antichrist that people realize what is coming and for u who don't know I guess you'll wish u had beat your bible!!!Pray for our country!!!

Why is it that no one has seen his birth certificate. When he was a baby his mother renounced citizenship of the US for citizenship of Indonesia. He never took his test to become a US citizen! Why is he even on the ticket? A well known lawyer in Pennsylvania has sued to stop the election because he is not a US citizen!

That is ENOUGH! I am not a racist in any form. Niether are all of those who would cast a vote for McCain! Itake exception to your post which insinuates that unless I(or anyone else)vote for Barack, we are automatically racist.I am basing my decisions on deeper issues so don't perpetuate the rhetoric thrown around by the liberals on RACE.I thought Obama claimed, in the beginning(not anymore) to be the unifier, yet, with the help of his cronies, has attempted to paint ALL people who vote for McCain as racist. That is the opposite of "unifier"! You, and the Democratic party, have attempted to ‘Guilt’ some people into voting based strictly on the fact that he is black in order to ‘prove’ they are not a racist. If I were to vote FOR him based strictly on his race, then I would be guilty of racism as you are accusing us of being. Bythe way, the issue of Muslim background has nothing to do with Kenya, but instead his father’s beliefs and Barack's education.

Obama/Biden=Rev. Jeremiah Wright(radical racist minister for Obama for over 20 years whom Obama originally said played a huge part in who he is today, now says he really doesn't know the guy that well), William Ayers(Bombed the pentagon and NYC police and probably inspired the attack on the Trade Center. Says his only regret is that they didn't go bigger. Helped launch Obama's career and has given him over $50 million. Obama says he "Doesn't know him that well.") Foreign interests(unidentified, but have donated record amounts to Obama's campaign. If you take money from someone, they expect a favor later), the slum-lord in Chicago(currently being interrogated by the FBI. Provided Obama with his house through shady real estate dealings. Obama again "Doesn't know him that well."). Jesse Jackson(check out yesterdays interview in the New York Post), Louis Farrakan(Radical, radical...not enough space to list his beliefs and activities) The list goes on and on. I'll take troopergate, thanks!

I guess putting Obama all over the papers and news channels; Shoving him down your throat, making sure that every celebrity that supports him gets ample air time, really does make a difference. WV doesn't support Obama, we are forced too. Remember voting for Hillary? That was a farce. We all got labeled as racists, and our "delegates" voted Obama anyways. I guess if they make us feel guilty enough, Obama will get our pity votes. Way to go "Team Obama" have the first black president in office by people easing a guilty conscience for being racist, when they were just doing what's right for WV in the first place. Obama will win this election no matter what. The press will make sure of that.

The reason WV is so poor, look at the DEMOCRATS who have run this state for decades. ALL top economists say in order to help the economy, you need to lower the capital gains tax. Obama wants to RAISE it. This will only get passed on to YOU. YOU will pay more for things. Take an economics class and quit listening to MSM mayhem and scare over it. Factcheck.org is supported by the Annenberg Foundation/ Ayers (the terrorist who supports OBAMA) and is not a neutral, unbiased website. Also, Obama's 250K and above tax will be on GROSS receipts and on INVENTORY. He fails to tell you that. The change you will get with Obama is socialism, communism, Marxism and the like. Who paid for his education at Harvard? By his own admission, he had no student loans to report on his FEDERAL forms for Sentate, yet supposedly they paid them off this year? That is a CRIME, punishable by law. If a republican had done that, he would have been punished. Different rules for DEMS than Republicans. Go figure.

Posted by: To Common Sense on Oct 15, 2008 at 08:39 AM
You don't get it. There are no extensive checks before someone can run for office. Please do yourself a favor and research Obama's bio on: http://www.colony14.net/id41.html. It will amaze you. Look at his voting record. Look at his connections. Ask yourself why Obama has not allowed ANY of his records to be made public. That should be MANDATORY when you are running for office. If he were a republican, the media would not allow it. He was officially allowed to run for President of Indonesia in 2006. The only way that could happen is if he were still a citizen of Indonesia, who , BTW, does not allow dual citizenship. IF he is innocent and is a true citizen of US, then he needs to prove it. McCain did. There is no integrity when you hide things. Obama has flipflopped so much he wore them out and had to buy new ones. If he does that now, what makes you think he will keep his word when you vote him in?

Now I see why this state is so poor. I kmow the majority of this state does not make 250,000 a year or more so why would you vote for somebody who is not trying to do anything for the majority? I haven't seen any big corporations here so how will mccains plan help us as a whole? At least Obamas plans include stimulus packages for workers so we can pay to get our cars fixed from these terrible streets or pay mountaineer gas. As far as his race and upbringing, he was raised by his white mom and grandmother.go to factcheck.org. I'm tired of our state losing good hardworking people just so they can find a good job and being replaced with criminals who have no ambition in life.Think about it.Do you really think our government , especially after 9/11, would let a terrorist run in their senate? I am sure they go through extensive investigations before letting someone represent a state.

Leroy. You are writing a lie about Barack Obama and you know that NBC did no such thing. You cannot be a Christian and say the things you are saying. Jesus loved everyone, including His enemies. Remember? And I'd like to ask something of you? Can you read better than you can spell? Please read your bible and stop hating people who are different from you.

Nobody said the politicans we have now are sooo sweet, but don't jump out of the frying pan into the fire.. Obama will be the final nail in our coffins! Well if it's that time please take it serious and look up to the east!

Coal mines can't be "got rid of." If anything, they can help pull us out of this government orchestrated economic plunge. Neither candidate is worth their breath. Both is all about padding their own pockets. Politicians couldn't care less about anyone but themselves. People get so upset but there's no point. None of it counts unless you're at the top.Class divisions will continue to increase because these candidates do not have a clue what poverty is. America needs to wake up and understand what communism is. People are so stupid. Course, being blind is better than realizing how helpless we are and how much we are under their mercy.

And you OBAMA 08 I dare you to listen to what they say on the nbc news because they said he was in with the terrorist in the 9/11.

I don't understand how people can claim they're not racist but Barack Obama is a muslim terrorist or an Arab. First of all, Senator Obama's father was born in Kenya which for the uneducated among you is in Africa and is NOT A MIDDLE EASTERN COUNTRY!! We have came too far in this country to go backwards 40 years and not elect the best candidate to run this country because of the color of his skin regardless of what kind of lies we try to make up to justify it. Anyway you look at it, when you wouldn't treat a white candidate the same way....that's racism in it's basic form!!!

Posted by: Bigotpolice on Oct 14, 2008 at 06:36 PM
You should be ashamed of yourselves! Anti-christ? give me a break! Closet muslem? OMG! What racism! I can't believe you people fell for all the lies and are repeating them like they are gospel. That's exactly what the McCain/Palin people want you to believe and do...McCain said Obama was planting the seed of hate...that's the pot calling the kettle black! Get over yourselves! Your light skin color doesn't make you any better!Good thing there are enough intelligent votes to cancel out all your ignorant ones!

YES IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE BUT IS OBAMA A CHANGE THIS NATION CAN HANDLE. REMEMBER OUR GREAT GOV MANCHIN SAID ON TV HE WILL CAST A VOTE FOR OBAMA. I COULD NOT VOTE FOR EITHER.

I'm am sick of these people bringing up abortion and gay rights. Just what has your man Bush done about either one of these issues in the past eight years? Vote whatever way you like but shut up about these two issues. And for all you people talking about "the antichrist", if there really is such a person it would have to be the man in office now! If Obama does get elected I hope his first act as President is to pull the tax-exempt status of the church. I'm sure all these fine christians would love to do there part to help pull this counrty out of the mess we are in today.

Posted by: Buckeye on Oct 14, 2008 at 04:40 PM
To Dem for McCain: Do you ever leave the house or does fear have a grip on you there as well? Give us a break. You sound like someone from the 1960's. Your fears are caused by you racist fears, yet you don't realize it or won't admit it. Trust me, it's obvious to everyone else.

Posted by: Kat on Oct 14, 2008 at 04:35 PM
I would hope that "Dem for McCain" and "You can have him" (plus the others of similiar views) would stop hiding behind their ignorance and prejudices about Barack Obama. I cannot believe in the year 2008 (!) that there are still people like this in this country. Senator Obama is a brilliant, Harvard educated senator who has compassion and good ideas for this country. He is not "scary" and I do not comprehend how the person who wrote that could possibly come to such a conclusion. The "beast and anti-christ" stuff is not a Christian thing to say about another person. Isn't this the 21st Century, everyone? What's wrong with you all?

The ones who vote McCain/Palin are not the smart ones. They are the idiots who keep putting us in the trillions of dollars of debt caused by the republican party. Still ignorant rednecks are saying, "not a black man" or "he's a terrorist". How about someone who gives a crap if we breathe clean air or can afford to go to the doctor?

Posted by: Ra on Oct 14, 2008 at 02:24 PM
Bible thumping and racist bashing is why this country needs change! Get over your superficial selves and think about the future of our children, this country, and this planet, you have the ability to be progressive and responsible. Get the facts and stop believing all the propoganda crap you hear in 15 second commercials or at the barber shop. We are all smart enough to see the road to here was paved by Bushonian policies, and the only road home to the respected world superpower we once were is if we get over our way is the only way attitude and vote for Obama/Biden! No one respects a bully, and McCain just wants to find honor in his golden years by winning another war we never should have fought! In case you forgot, Bin Laden is in Afganistan/Pakistan not Iraq. 4 years of McCain will nail our coffins

Posted by: joe on Oct 14, 2008 at 02:18 PM
I remember people in WVA saying the they will never vote for JFK because he is Catholic.. But they did.. Maybe this time WVA will get it right again and vote against racism, against negative economy, against poor education, and against ignorance.

I come from a strong Democratic family and not one of us is for Obama. The world needs to open their eyes to the lies that Obama is telling us. I fear what will happen if he gets into office. He receives funds from terrorists for goodness sakes! He doesn't even have a full year of politics under his belt and Americans would think about voting for him! Get with the program and vote for someone who has morals! The problem is you have people like those in Hollywood he have no morals and are backing Obama. Please don't think about the stars at a time like this. Think of your secure future. Vote McCain!

Hello yes I am very concerned for our nation! I want the right person for a president however I do like some of obama's plans better than Mccain's but i dont like him because he is antichrist!! No i am not a christian but yes i do believe there is a god in heaven! It is scary to think a man named Obama who is antichrist can get elected for president in USA ! He says he is a christian but he was sworn in as arab and to me that is what he is who's to say he is not going to destroy our country more than what it already is when he get elected!! To tell you the truth its hard to believe anyone anymore they tell u one thing to get u to vote for them and then when its all said and done its a different story!!!

Posted by: Scott on Oct 14, 2008 at 01:23 PM
WHAT!!??? You people are NOT voting Obama? Put down your confederate flags and open your eyes. Obama: a Terrorist? FACT 1: Obama is a Christian FACT 2: Obama is half white and was raised by a mid-western white family. FACT 3: Hussein is one of the most common names in the world, it's as if there was a guy named mohammad was a terrorist and suddenly you said Ali was a terrorist. Fact 4: there are several racist networks in WV, and that is why Obama has not been here. I wouldn't go somewhere where half of the state wants me dead either. Fact 5: OBAMA is a HARVARD grad! BTW, didn't we come to America to get away from religious persecution? That is the ignorance the press was referring to, just because a group of people of arabic descent attacked us doesnt make them all terrorists. There is a baseball player named Castro, does that make him like Fidel? No. Stop looking for reasons to not vote Obama and you'll see that McCain has the same ideals as W. and Palin is like another W herse

You people make me sick comparing Obama to a terrorist. You are narrow-minded idiots that can't (whether you will admit it or not) see past his skin color. "Ohh I 'm scared of Obama..." Well I'm scared of McSame and Failin'! Having her ex-brother-in-law fired, scary. Abuse of power to the fullest. John McSame, who bears a striking resemblance to Gollum from "Lord of the Rings", is scary. Almost as scary as the IDIOTS that are comparing Obama to terrorists. OBAMA 08!

The only West Virginians' that will vote for Obama are welfare receipients. Since we have so many freeloaders in the state it could mean trouble for McCain. This working taxpayer is for McCain.

I wouldn't vote for Obama if my life depended on it. Biden wants to close coal mines, Wake up Mountaineers, thats most of our work and exporting. Obama won't even wear an american flag pin because it offends other nations. I thought he was running for president in this nation. Wake up people.

Change is frightening, but unless we want to spend the next four years in a nightmare (think: another Republican President) then people must get over their "fears" of voting for the best serious candidate we've had in this lifetime. Voting for Obama is the right choice for anyone who cares about anything but his/herself.

I think the real friends of Osama Bin Laden are the Republicans. They've spent how long looking for him without success? It was a Republican conspiracy to take the 2004 election by a landslide. Morons vote out of fear.

Ok here it goes... I do not understand how people in the united states can vote for Obama... He is from the muslim religion and currently we are at war with that part of the country... Secondly He does not want to be sworn in on the king james verson of the bible... he wants to use the muslim bible.. Ok now I know this leaves us with not much of a choice but I feel that if we as a country vote this man into office then our safety and national will not be a "real" concern for him.

After reading all of this garbage, it is no wonder WV is the laughing stock of America. Obama scares you?? Well, McCain should scare you more buddy! He is Bush with alzheimers. If you are a Democrat for McCain, then you need to officially become a Republican. Because you do not love your country one bit. No real Democrat would vote for a man who wants to revive the Bush legacy and keep it alive. Don't you think the Repubs would be doing the same kinds of hate campaign against Hillary? Since most white rednecks believe Obama is a closet Muslim which he IS NOT, what religion is McCain? Does he go to church at all? And by the way, do you people in the sticks even know a Muslim? Do you reall understand their religion? Not every Muslim is bad and not every white person is good. All of this Obama Muslim crap was started by a billion dollar Republican fundraiser. Republicans don't care anything about WV. They just prey on our ignorance for votes. And they manage to win.

To all of those who want to blame our present situation on Clinton. Check again. Our county was actually to the good when he left office, we had a surplus of funds. Look at us now, if that's not obvious enough then you're blind.

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan says: Barack, is an instrument that God is going to use to bring universal change and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking. WOW-how scary is that?? LOOK UP PEOPLE JESUS IS GETTING READY TO SPLIT THE SKY

Obama/Biden 2008. I didn't vote for Bush in 2000 or 2004, so I am not at fault for the way the past 8 years panned out. To you Republicans and Democrats who refuse to vote for Obama, When he wins and does this nation proud, then you can say "I didn't do anything to share in this prosperity". It will take hard work to turn this nation around. Obama/Biden will work hard for all of us.

Posted by: d on Oct 14, 2008 at 08:43 AM
first of all the coal mines in wv are ran by massey and therefore mccain will win wv. I am a democrat and i will vote for mccain. hussain obama is telling everybody he is going to raise taxes on $200 thousand dollar income or more. The only thing that will accomplish is more jobs down the drain. Small businesses will be taxed to death and will be forced to shut down. I am a liberal person but come on if it sounds to good to be true it probally is. He has to pay off a 700 trillon dollar debt. How-- raise taxes, But only for the what 30% of the people who actually make over 200 thousand dollars. 40% of the population don't even pay income taxes. he is full of it and anyone that votes for obama is in a dream world. wake up.

Posted by: Go Obama on Oct 14, 2008 at 08:42 AM
To Sambo, First off, only the person that has an abortion will stand in front of God and be judged for their actions, not you so don't worry about what other people do with their bodies. And secondly, do you make more than $250,000 a year,? probably not. Obama is only raising taxes on the individuals that make more than that annually. So I am sure that you will not see an increase in your taxes. Can you really afford another four years on inflation? I can not along with a lot of other people. So, that is why I am voting for Obama. I really think that you should give him a try. He may be young and inexperienced but he still will do a better job than George W. Bush has done in the last eight years. Give him a chance it’s only for four years. If you don’t like it then vote Rep. GO OBAMA

Think about it... how can you be prolife and then say that healthcare is not a right... so babies can be born just to die because they can't afford healthcare... Socialism is not communism and Obama is not a terrorist sympathizer. Obama is the one who is going to pull us out of America's early grave of greed. He actually presented some really good concrete ideas on turning around the economy in Toledo yesterday, Don't buy into the fear and you'll see that its clear, Obama 08

Does it really matter what our thoughts are concerning the 2 presidential candidates? The answer is NO! It's all about SUPER DELEGATE votes. It doesn't matter what "we the people" want and most desperately need.

Posted by: Always Thinking... on Oct 14, 2008 at 07:01 AM
Real change? Surprised by the many who are falling for that one. Bush has been, by far, a no show as president, but that does not mean McCain will be as Bush has been. Any President of the United States elected to a second term is, by definition, a lame duck for their entire second term, but would you like to be judged by one certain member of your family? Come on people, be smart. Where are your values? You put your heads in the sand on issues such as abortion and gay marriage. If the very leaders of this country say they favor abortion and gay marriage, where does that leave the rest of us? If God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for these very reasons (homosexual lifestyles, sacrificing their children to the gods of prosperiety, etc.) do you think we, as a nation, will escape God's wrath? If so, the people of Sodom and Gomorrah will be expecting an apology at the Judgement. For better or worse, I can never support a president who condones sacrificing children for prosperiety.

Let me tell you something people I am not one who likes to vote for young men who have no record but I am here to say that we most certainly do not want John Mccain in office. He was George Bushes buddy and the only reason they are not saying it is because of bushes being so hated. I said I would no
