Congressman Wilson Touring Stimulus Projects

MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Ohio's 6th District Congressman Charley Wilson is in Meigs and Gallia counties on Wednesday.

Wilson is meeting ODOT officials and touring two road projects being funded with money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, also known as the stimulus fund.

The first stop is in Meigs County at the intersection of State Route 7 and CR 53 near Five Points. Some $1.4 million was used on a paving project.

His second stop is in Gallia County on Keystone Road in the Village of Vinton.

His office proclaims him to be a Blue Dog Democrat. I'll be interested to see how he votes on health care. I'm betting he will do as he's told by Pelosi. At least, before he gives up his vote, get money for some projects Lawrence County.

He ahould be reading the health care bill, but I don't think it's being "pushed down" our throats. He needs to be informed.
