THIS IS A PRESS RELEASE FROM THE OFFICE OF WEST VIRGINIA CONGRESSWOMAN SHELLEY MOORE CAPITO.

CHARLESTON – Rep. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., today announced that an additional $275,000 will soon support ongoing water improvements for residents in East Bank. The funding will help finance the East Bank Water Storage Tank and Water Extension Project.

“This funding provides critical resources that can help us finish this project and make sure that the residents of East Bank have regular access to clean drinking water,” said Capito. “I’m pleased to know that this funding will help us complete a project that will have a real impact in serving our neighbors in East Bank.”

The funding announced today follows $225,000 which Capito secured earlier this year. Once completed, the project will serve 436 residents and consist of a new water line, a storage tank, a new fire hydrant and a water booster station.

Seventy-five thousand dollars from the Kanawha County Commission will also support this project.
