CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Familiar faces will continue to serve on the Kanawha County School Board.
Incumbents Jim Crawford and Robin Rector got the most votes during Tuesday's election. This will be Rector's second term on the board.
Crawford secured 9,628 votes while Rector got 7,892 votes.
The school board has been in the middle of some hot topics over the past couple of months, including the fight over the name of West Side Elementary School in Charleston and the suspension of transfers to George Washington High School.
Crawford and Rector will serve another four year term.
Voters also passed the county's school levy during Tuesday's primary election.
