Popcorn balls, especially made with sorghum is a real treat that will surely bring back childhood memories.
Ingredients:
1 Cup of sorghum or molasses
1/2 Cup sugar
1 Tablespoon butter
3 gallons popped corn
Directions:
Heat the mixture in a pan to the soft ball stage. That's when you dribble a small amount into cold water and it forms a soft ball when gathered. Dribble the hot mixture over the popcorn while someone rotates the bowl and stirs. Form into balls but remember to coat your hands with butter or spray with Pam. Wrap in wax paper or plastic.
