THURSDAY, JULY 1, 2010
9:45 a.m.	Hearse arrives at U.S. Capitol, Senate Steps
9:50 a.m.	Honor Guard to proceed with casket up Senate Steps, into U.S. Senate Chamber, where casket will be placed upon the Lincoln Catafalque
10:15 a.m. - Noon	Senator Byrd’s family will receive Members of the Senate and House who to pay their respects
10:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.	U.S. Senate Chamber Public Galleries open to all those who wish to pay their respects

10:30 a.m.	U.S. Senate Chaplain Dr. Barry Black will offer prayer
4:00 p.m.	Casket is removed from Senate Chamber and taken out of U.S. Capitol to waiting hearse. Depart for Andrews AFB
5:50 p.m.	Aircraft to arrive at Yeager Airport Charleston, West Virginia
7:00 p.m.	Casket removed and placed in hearse for transportation to Robert C. Byrd U.S. Courthouse 300 Virginia Street, East Public procession ending at West Virginia State Capitol Casket moved to Capitol Rotunda

12:30 a.m.	Memorial Service and Celebration of Life concludes
4:00 p.m.	Casket removed from West Virginia State Capitol Building Proceed to Yeager Airport in Charleston Departs for Andrews AFB

11:00 a.m.	Funeral Service: Memorial Baptist Church 3455 North Glebe Road Arlington, Virginia Open to the Public – limited seat
