Posted: 05/14/2013 - The West Virginia Power beat the Hickory Crawdads 9-5 Monday night at L.P. Frans Stadium. The Power sent 11 batters to the plate in the third inning, scoring six times, to build n insurmountable lead to help the club move a game above .500 for the first time this season.

The Thundering Herd learned it would be facing No. 12 Kentucky (38-18) in Lexington, Ky. on Friday at 7:30 p.m. This is the softball team’s first regional bid in program history.

Posted: 05/08/2013 - Remi Dibo, a 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward, has signed a national letter-of-intent to attend West Virginia University and will play basketball for the Mountaineers, WVU coach Bob Huggins announced today.
