CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Miki Glenn had 33 points and 11 rebounds to lead Bridgeport past Lincoln 54-34 in the girls Class AA quarterfinals Thursday.
Second-seeded Bridgeport (23-2), which moved down from Class AAA this season, advances to the semifinals for the third straight year.
The Indians will meet Nicholas County on Friday.
Bridgeport led 38-24 entering the fourth quarter, but the Indians didn't make another field goal until the final minute of the game.
A 3-pointer by Alysse Parsons capped a 10-0 run for Lincoln that cut the deficit to 43-34 with 2:56 left. But the Cougars got no closer. Glenn went 7 of 13 from the floor and made 19 of 23 free throws. Bridgeport outscored Lincoln 26-2 from the free-throw line.
Makayla McEwayne had 11 points for No. 7 Lincoln (16-10).
