Pat White Cut by Dolphins
Pat White is out of work for the moment. The former second round pick of the Miami Dolphins was cut Saturday by the club.

MIAMI, Fla. -- Pat White is out of work for the moment. The former second round pick of the Miami Dolphins was cut Saturday by the club.
White, who led West Virginia University to four bowl wins, was the second round pick of the Dolphins in the 2009 NFL Draft.
White played in 13 games for the Dolphins in 2009, attempting five passes and rushing for 81 yards. He never completed a pass for Miami and fell behind Chad Henne, Chad Pennington and Tyler Thigpen on the depth chart.
Saturday was the NFL's deadline for teams to reduce their rosters to the 53-man maximum for the regular season.

Actually Pat Whites QB rating in college was over 147. An completed 67 percent of his passes in 4 years, the other QBs for the Dolphins are way worse in there 4 year college carrers, If you dont believe me look it up. I did. He also outpassed an performed every QB at the Combine. Its the Dolphins loss, they shouldnt have drafted him, if they didnt want to actually give him playing time an a chance to show them his skills. Its a sad day to see such a great athlete gone. A fan always.
sorry tonya pat white will never play in the nfl again as a qb all he did at wvu was run the ball. the nfl new he could not throw the ball.
Pat White is an amazing football player. The Dolphins will be sorry they released him. I hope the Steelers pick him up for sure. Good luck, Pat, I followed your career at West Virginia and will follow your career in the NFL. Some team that is smart will pick you up.
