HURRICANE, W.Va. (AP) - Former high school teammates Randy Moss
and Jason Williams are teaming up for a charity golf event.

The "First Annual Links for Learning Weekend Golf
Extravaganza" will be held June 27 and 28 at the Sleepy Hollow
Country Club in Hurricane. The event will include a Friday night
cocktail party, a Saturday golf outing, dinner and a sports
memorabilia auction.

Proceeds will benefit children in the area through golf learning
centers, the first of which is scheduled to be built in Moss'
hometown of Rand.

Moss, an all-pro wide receiver with the New England Patriots,
and Williams, a guard with the NBA's Miami Heat, were teammates at
DuPont High School in the mid-1990s.

Finally! Some Moss supporters. I thought I was the only one. no one ever wants to hear about the good things he does. (a lot of it doesn't receive ANY press) But it's good to know somebody else out there appreciates the guy.

people can trash moss all they want but at least he does give back to the community. yeah he made some mistakes early in life but the last few years you can just sense that maturity that he lacked when he 1st went pro..i love this idea about these 2 giving back, especially when it goes back to help the youth of wv..

I wished that I played golf earlier as a young man but I think that these two young men teaming up for a golf charity is a great idea!

Where are all the Moss dissenters now? Probably complaining about Obama in other forums I would guess.
