IRVING, Texas (AP) - Marshall's Albert McClellan is among 56
players on the 2008 watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy.
The award is given the nation's best defensive player.
McClellan missed all of the 2007 season with a knee injury. The
defensive end was the 2006 Conference USA Defensive Player of the
Year after leading the league with 11 sacks and 19 tackles for
loss.
The award is given by the Football Writers Association of
America.
