Rain forced several regional high school softball championship games to be rescheduled.

In Class AAA, South Charleston was leading Nicholas County when the game was suspended in the 3rd inning. The game is scheduled to be complete Saturday in Summersville.

Huntington was up 5-1 against St. Albans when the game was suspended in the 5th inning. They'll try to complete the game Friday in Vienna.

In Class AA, the game pitting Sherman against Scott was canceled. They'll try to play Friday in Logan.

In Class A, Charleston Catholic and Fayetteville will try to play Friday in Fayetteville.

Buffalo was trailing Man 1-0 in the 3rd inning when their game was called. They're scheduled to finish the game Friday in Buffalo.

Point Pleasant was able to advance to the state tournament, defeating Magnolia 5-0.

I agree with Sharon's comment. These girls have played all season and not one word mentioned on any local newscoverage. Come On. If you do not know it........This was softball season and not Football!!!!!!!

Please post scores of softball games. Last update was Friday Morning. Softball games were played Friday evening. It is now after 1 Saturday afternoon. You do have viewers that are interested in the scors and for that matter girls' sports. Consider us please.
