Their defense must look for ways to improve - fast - with games looming against two more unbeatens, at No. 11 Texas next Saturday and at Texas Tech on Oct. 13.

While West Virginia's offense amassed a school-record 807 yards, the defense gave up 700. The Mountaineers (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) have allowed opposing quarterbacks to throw for 300 or more yards in three of four games.
