WIMBLEDON, England (AP) - Venus Williams has won her fifth
Wimbledon singles title, beating younger sister Serena 7-5, 6-4.

The defending champion, Venus is 5-and-2 in Wimbledon finals,
losing only to Serena in 2002 and '03.

The win at the All England Club gives Venus her seventh major
title. She also won Wimbledon in 2000, 2001, 2005 and 2007.

The match was the seventh Grand Slam final between the sisters,
with Serena holding a 5-2 edge. They're now 8-and-8 overall.

Venus and Serena play later today in the women's doubles final.

The men's final is tomorrow with five-time defending champion
Roger Federer taking on second seed Rafael Nadal
