MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - For West Virginia's football team,
there's even a fall drill for the proper way to ride the team bus.
First-year coach Bill Stewart has given the Mountaineers a day
off from practice on Friday to conduct a 46-mile "dry run" trip
to Washington, Pa. The team will hop on buses and stay at a hotel
to teach players what to expect on the road.
Everyone from the video staff to student managers will tag
along.
West Virginia has buses for offense, defense and special teams.
Before leaving Friday night, players will learn what buses to get
on and where they're supposed to sit.
Players also will learn how to check into a hotel. A pre-game
routine will be held on Saturday before the team returns to
Morgantown.
