HURRICANE, W.Va. - After the second and final round of action, the Thundering Herd women's golf team finished up the Lady Herd Fall Classic in 8th place at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane, W.Va.

Towson was led by Morgan Reich, who finished second overall with a 149. She shot a 73 on Tuesday, tying the tournament low. Towson finished with three players in the top ten.

Finishing in a tie for second was Radford and Cincinnati. With the tiebreaker, the Highlanders were placed second, improving four spots on the second day of action. The Highlanders shot a 319 on Monday, putting them sixth, but bounced back with a 305 on Tuesday. They were led by individual winner Hannah Coles, who shot a 75 in round one and followed that up with a 73 on Tuesday, good for a total of 148.

Cincinnati, who led the tournament following Monday's action, matched Radford's 624. Anna Camtell led the Bearcats, tying for third place.

Marshall has two tournaments remaining in the fall season. The first will take place next week as the Herd will travel to the Richmond Spider Invite on Monday and Tuesday. The team will then have three weeks off until the UAB Fall Beach Blast on November 3 and 4.
