LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Dodgers scored early and often to beat
Philadelphia 7-2 in game three of the National League Championship
Series.

Los Angeles batted around in the first inning and scored five
runs, capped off by rookie second baseman Blake DeWitt's
bases-loaded triple with two outs.

Rafael Furcal singled and scored the first run of that frame,
and then led off the second with a homer to left.

Nomar Garciaparra added an RBI single in the fourth.

It was not a good day for Phillies starter Jamie Moyer. The
45-year-old lasted only an inning and a-third and allowed six of
the Dodgers' seven runs. In contrast, L-A starter Hiroki Kuroda breezed through six-plus innings of
work, giving up just two runs on five hits. He also struck out
three to get the win.

The Phillies got RBI singles from Pedro Feliz and Pat Burrell in
the second and seventh innings. Their series lead is cut to
two-games-to-one. Game four is Monday night.
