CANCUN, Mexico (AP) - Maze Stallworth scored 17 points as Morehead State held off a late Central Florida rally for a 71-65 win on Sunday night.

The Knights (3-3), trailing by 14 points with 5:39 left to play, got within two points on a Taylor Young free throw with 41 seconds left. Morehead State then hit four free throws for the win in the Cancun Challenge.

Leon Buchanan and Demonte Harper scored 16 points each for the Eagles (1-6), as Kenneth Faried added 12 points.

Jermaine Taylor scored a game-high 22 points while grabbing 10 rebounds for the Knights. Tony Davis also had a double-double for UCF with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Morehead State blocked eight UCF shots, including five blocks from Faried.
