The Ohio University Bobcats lost to Southern Mississippi 28-7, in their first bowl game in almost 30 years.
The Southern Miss led 21-0 at the half and extended the lead to 28-0 in the third quarter.
The only Bobcat score came in the fourth when Austen Everson connected with Thomas Christy for a 13 yard touchdown.
The loss dropped O-U's record to 9-5.
