The top ranked team in the country, a sellout crowd of nine thousand screaming fans and a national television audience: all the ingredients were in place for a storybook ending. But it was not to be.

Highlanders star O.J. Mayo poured in 47 points including a three pointer to send the game into overtime but, in the end, Huntington came up just short. The Highlanders trailed by 2 and managed to get of three three point tries in the final 30 seconds before falling 78 to 76. This was Huntington's second loss of the season.

In an atmosphere more like March Madness or an NBA game, Huntington and St. Patrick showed off why both were rated as two of the nation's best.
