West Virginia State lost to number 1 seed Barton College 86-85, in the NCAA Division II East Regional semi-finals.
The Yellow Jackets led 85-77 with two minutes left in the game.
Anthony Atkins sank one of two free throws to give Barton an 86-85 lead with 13 seconds left in the game.
Then with 3 seconds left, State's Ted Scott missed a three point shot.
Scott led the Yellow Jacket scoring with 27 points.
the Yellow Jackets ended the season at 26-7.
