The marijuana citation issued against Huntington High basketball star O.J. Mayo has been dismissed.
Late Monday afternoon, two individuals took responsibility for the small amount of marijuana.
Friday night, Mayo was one of four people in a car pulled over by Cabell County sheriff's deputies.
Police say they found a small amount of marijuana inside, and because nobody would claim the drugs, all were given citations.
Mayo was never arrested or taken into custody.
Again, the charges have now been dismissed against Mayo.
