Logan has advanced to the boys Class Double-A semifinals with a 60-to-42 win today over Petersburg at the Charleston Civic Center.

For third-seeded Logan, Jonathan Bevins had 23 points and 12
rebounds. Jon Webster led Petersburg with ten points.

Number six Petersburg scored the same amount of points as it did
in a regional win over Berkeley Springs and faced the same
predicament when it scored only ten first-half points in that game.

Down 22-to-9 to Logan, Petersburg couldn't come up with a
similar second-half rally.

Bevins scored eleven points in the first two minutes of the
second half to build the Wildcats' lead to 33-to-14. Petersburg got
no closer than 12 points the rest of the game.
