J-T Lewis returned from a one-game suspension to lead Morgantown to a 43-to-37 win over cold-shooting Capital today in the boys Class Triple-A quarterfinals today at the Charleston Civic Center.
Lewis missed the Mohigans' regional win over Wheeling Park due
to an undisclosed violation of team rules. He finished with 21
points and eleven rebounds against Capital.
Lewis' layup gave Morgantown a one-point halftime lead and his
three-pointer just before the third-quarter buzzer put the Mohigans
ahead for good, 28-to-26.
Morgantown clinched the win by going 10-of-14 from the free
throw line over the final minute-and-a-half.
Malik Witten led third-seeded Capital with 13 points and 12
rebounds.
Both teams finished with their lowest point totals of the
season. Capital shot just 21 percent from the field.

The field has been set for the 2013 Indianapolis 500. Ed Carpenter won the pole and will be joined by rookie Carlos Munoz and Marco Andretti on the front row. Row three features defending IndyCar champ Ryna Hunter-Reay, Helio Castroneves and James Hinchcliffe. (NBC Sports)
Katherine Legge survived the bubble of Bump Day at Indy, which didn't live up to its name.
MST: Ed Carpenter is a native son and knows the importance of winning the pole at the Indy 500, but he said he's focused on a bigger goal: winning the race.
