Logan has reached the boys Class Double-A championship game for the second time in three seasons with a 63-to-49 win today over Magnolia.
Third-seeded Logan put the game away with a 22-point fourth
quarter that included making 18-of-27 free throws.
Jonathan Bevins led Logan with 21 points, ten rebounds and nine
blocked shots. Brantz O'Briant added 14 points, nine assists and
eight rebounds. Brett Sorrell scored 12.
For seventh-seeded Magnolia, Nathan West scored 15 and Jonas
McEldowney had 12.
Magnolia came from eleven points down to tie the game at 35-all
late in the third quarter before Bevins sank a free throw and an
inside basket a minute apart to give Logan the lead for good.
MST: Charlie Kimball is confident heading to Indy, and his performance this year suggests he's a contender.
