Marshall Renews Football Rivalry with Miami, Ohio
Marshall will open the 2013 and 2014 football seasons against Miami, Ohio.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Marshall will open the 2013 and 2014 football seasons against Miami, Ohio.
Marshall athletic director Mike Hamrick says Miami will travel to Huntington on Aug. 31, 2013. Marshall will travel to Oxford, Ohio, on Aug. 30, 2014.
Miami leads the series 30-10-1, although Marshall won six of eight meetings between 1997 and 2004 when it was a member of the Mid-American Conference.

i heard that a new song is going to be played at the Marshall game this weekend. Donny Pennington from Fort Gay W.V. wrote & sings the song, we are Marshall. he is dedicating the song to the Marshall team that we lost Nov.14,1970 & to all the future Marshall teams.

So What: I love it when a differing opinion renders the other person "stupid". And, I don't lack for attention. What my school and area now lack is competence and direction. After a point, it bleeds into the ability of the school to market itself for political resources and for new students. Now, one could, indeed, question the acumen of a Syderite who cannot read the tealeaves after 4-plus seasons and the last devasting spectacle of incompetence. Offense is in disarray and defense, as well (gee, who is reportedly calling the defensive plays?). How long before recruiting and the spirit of the team follow, if they're not already there? So you enjoy all that elbow room in the stands. You, bright boy, are a TRUE "enabler".

Jrebb do you think we can be a dynasty forever. Are you stupid or just like the attention. You want big name coaches and be able to compete with big salaries. Then you need money first. So many fair weather fans are killing our program. coaches make some crazy call and it works then they are a hero. If it doesn't lets get rid of that stupid coach. Great way to look at things. Go Synder your true fans will still support you through thick and thin
