Eric Byrnes and Chad Tracy drove in two runs
apiece in Arizona's 7-to-1 win at Washington.

Byrnes homered and Tracy laced a two-run double while the
Diamondbacks were building a 6-to-0 lead. Tracy's two-bagger came
in the D-Backs' three-run first off loser John Patterson.

Winning pitcher Brandon Webb was exceptional over seven innings,
allowing one run and seven hits while striking out eight. He had a
shutout until Austin Kearns homered in the sixth.

Patterson was reached for three runs and four hits in five
innings to fall to 0-and-2.

The Nationals have trailed 4-to-0 in each of their first six
games. They've been outscored 42-to-17 this season.
