It was a clean sweep for the West Virginia Power! They beat the Greensboro Grasshoppers 4-1 on Friday night thanks in large part to the pitching of Zach Braddock.

The left-hander had 12 strikeouts, completing the three game sweep of Greensboro and it's their 7th straight win. He also allowed only 4 hits while getting his first win of the year.

Power lefty Zach Braddock fanned 12 Greensboro batters on Friday night at Appalachian Power Park as the West Virginia Power defeated the Grasshoppers 4-1, completing the three game sweep of Greensboro to win their seventh game in a row.

The Power improved to 9-3 with the win and the Grasshoppers fell to 8-6 with the loss. Darren Ford, Steve Chapman and John Alonso all recorded two hits a piece for the Power.

West Virginia's homestand continues Saturday night when they host Hickory. First pitch is set for 7:05pm.
