Cole Hamels had a career-high 15 strikeouts in
his first complete game and the Philadelphia Phillies turned the
first triple play in the major leagues this season in a four-to-one
victory over the Cincinnati Reds tonight.

Hamels (2-0) allowed five hits and walked two. His previous
career best was 12 strikeouts in a game, which he did twice last
season.

Chase Utley homered and drove in three runs for the Phillies.

Cincinnati's lone run came on a Jeff Conine homer. Reds starter
Eric Milton is now oh-and-three. He allowed six hits and three runs
in six innings.
