Hurricane, Chapmanville and Pendleton
County hold onto their top spots in this week's state high school
The poll was released today by the West Virginia Sports Writers
Hurricane is number one in Class Triple-A, followed by
Jefferson, St. Albans, Bridgeport, John Marshall, Morgantown and
Wheeling Park. Martinsburg and Cabell Midland are tied for eighth,
and Parkersburg South is tenth.
In Double-A, Chapmanville is followed by Logan, defending
champion Magnolia, Oak Hill, Independence, Clay County, Herbert
Hoover, Lincoln, Berkeley Springs and Roane County.
Pendleton County is first in Single-A, followed by Moorefield,
Williamstown, Wheeling Central, Doddridge County and Charleston
Catholic. East Hardy and Wirt County are tied for seventh, followed
by Notre Dame and defending champion Buffalo.
